I use only Nikon for my DSLR photography- I also have a Phase One P25 back for my architectural work. I use a D2X, D2H and D200 and am planning to trade the D2X and D2H for a couple of more D200's later this month (May 2007). I find the D200 file to have a smoother looking tonality in its file than the other two cameras and I never have focusing issues with the D200 like I have always had to battle with the D2X and D2H. Lenses- all Nikon- 300 2.8, 70-200 2.8 VR, 17-55 2.8, 60mm macro, and the 10.5 fisheye 2.8. Although I use Elinchrom monolights for most of my interior shooting, I keep 2 SB800's and a SU800 command in my camera bag. I have the WT2 transmitter but have shelved it because of erratic connection problems. I will be trying the transmitter that fits the D200.

- Nikon user from Japan, by way of the USA
I generally photograph outdoor scenes in Tokyo
and other areas in Japan, I prefer nature photography, but since
there ain't a lot of nature in Tokyo, I don't get a lot of real
nature photos. Occasionally, I post macro photos, street scenes,
and when can, landscapes. When I have the opportunity, I especially
enjoy wildlife photography. I do take some trips outside the Tokyo
area and post "travel photos too.
Most
of my photos are not the standard "tea ceremony, kimono,
and temple" variety one usually encounters in photos from
this area by non-Japanese. That's not the Japan most people live
in.
I
use a Nikon D70s (mainly) with a variety of lens. I have been
living in Tokyo for 7 years, originally from West Virginia in
the USA. |
