SB-910 Speedlight review by Rob Galbraith
"If you like the SB-900 then you'll like the SB-910 even more. Its strategic interface improvements, new clip-on filters, faster recycle speed and, most-importantly, a revamped approach to internal heat management that keeps the SB-910 firing, these and other tweaks add up to a flash that is similar to but plainly better than the SB-900 it replaces."
Coolpix P7100 review at DigitalCameraInfo
"To be clear, the Nikon P7100 stands on its own merits. Its score—8.1 at the time of publication, puts it a hair ahead of the Canon G12 and Olympus XZ-1, and not far at all behind the Fujifilm X10 or Canon S100—should make that obvious. But if Nikon can boost the next iteration’s speed and give it a faster lens, it may well be sitting at the top of next year’s heap."

Nikon 1 series 10-30mm lens review by the Mansurovs
"It is a sharp lens with good contrast and colors, and its performance is pretty good both in the center and in the corners. One important fact to note here, is that due to the smaller size of the camera sensor and its pixels, all 1 Nikkor lenses, including the 10-30mm are sharpest at around the f/5.6 mark."

Nikon J1 review by Thom Hogan
"The problem is that the design gets in my way too much. Yes, I'm a high end user, and a very sophisticated one. Yet I think the design probably gets in the way of the novice user moving up, too. Even something simple, like the moving mode dial, is enough to frustrate my mom or god-daughter or friend who isn't a photographer."
Nikon releases firmware updates for J1, V1 cameras - Rob Galbraith
Nikon D5100 vs Canon T3i at the Phoblographer
"In the end, I can create stunning images with both cameras and the various lenses that they both offer use with. However, in the end I need to give this to the Nikon D5100 because I feel that I’ve created better images with it in the short time that I’ve owned it."
Lightroom Virtual Copies and Snapshots by Earth Bound Light
"Adobe Lightroom provides a great deal of flexibility for maintaining more than one version of the same image. Indeed, so much flexibility that it can be confusing which method to use in a given situation. Here's a quick rundown of Virtual Copies versus Snapshots."
Coolpix S2600 product page at Nikon Corp - appears to be a new Coolpix camera, but no news release
D5100 review at Phoblographer
"The Nikon D5100 is a DSLR with wonderful image quality. The RAW files can be tough to work with when it comes to high ISO output. Otherwise, they’re relatively easy. The camera itself is an ergonomic nightmare if you come from higher end cameras down to this. The button placement is just so wacky to me."

Nikon V1 review by the Mansurovs
"While my initial thoughts after the Nikon 1 system was announced were rather negative, after using the camera actively for over a month, I got to like it, at least when compared to the competition. It does have a few problems though, as I have expressed in this review."
Review: Singh-Ray Vari-ND Filter – The Best ND Filter by Todd Owyoung
"Neutral-density filters are a mainstay of landscape  and travel photographers desiring long exposure for specific effects like the motion blur of water. However, outside their utility with outdoor photographers, the ND filter has immediate uses for anyone shooting portraits and working with flash photography."

A Book About Possibilities by Joe McNally
"This book was a long and winding road indeed. I looked at tried and true methods, new technology, big flash, and small flash. I experimented with lots of light shapers, both store bought and found, in the studio and on location. I pushed light through umbrellas and windows, off walls and cardboard, and into soft boxes and panels. I disclosed everything I did, via text, sketch and/or production photos."
Coolpix S4150 review at ePhotozine
"The S4150 is smaller but the S6150 is only slighter bigger and has much better image quality, more megapixels and more optical zoom. The S4150 can take a good picture but will suit those who prefer to share images on social networking sites rather than printing their images in a large format."
Coolpix S100 review at ePhotozine
"The S100 is packed with full 1080p HD video recording and takes 360°/180° panoramics using the sweep method. On occasion there is some vignetting visible, the battery has a short life expectancy and noise effects image quality from ISO 400."

Coolpix AW100 review at DigitalCameraInfo
"But the Coolpix AW100 will still rank the highest of this year’s rugged cameras, thanks almost entirely to the lens. Chromatic aberration is minimal in shots captured with the AW100, and sharpness is retained all the way to the edge of the frame, an advantage for landscape shooting."
Coolpix P7100 review at TrustedReviews
"Not only is the Nikon P7100 the equal of the Canon PowerShot G12, in many ways it's superior. For a start it's cheaper, offers a wider focal range, while the LCD monitor is larger and sharper too. Of course it's not perfect; the 720p HD movie mode is a bit measly, the optical viewfinder a bit poky, and while the sluggish performance issues of the P7000 have been improved on, the P7100 still isn't going to win any prizes for speed."

Nikon J1 review by Shun Cheung for Photo.net
"While Nikon wisely puts only 10MP onto this fairly small CX-format sensor, and results are generally excellent at ISO 100, 200 and 400, noise is still an issue above ISO 800. But Nikon does an excellent job controlling noise so that image quality only deteriorates moderately as the ISO goes up to 1600."
Coolpix S6150 review at ePhotozine
"The Coolpix S6150 has a range of useful features and makes it easy for beginners to photography to take some very pleasing images. There was some purple fringing in some images but when considering the price it is available for the camera represents excellent value for money."
