Status: AB (Advanced Beginner)

I like the work of: Sam Abell, David Alan Harvey, Jodi Cobb, Marion Nitsch, Dr. Karen Nakamura, Martin Linsi and Britisher Ken Scott ARPS

Self-employed as freelancer for various regional newspapers and magazines both writing and taking pictures. Main aspiration: being able to pay the bills (ha!). The 24 examples in this gallery give an overview of the work I do including a portrait of my cat in his night-chair. Most have been taken with either F/F4/D70, however #8 was a 30sec P&S affair with the L35AF. The FA and the Oly 35RC have been used in reporting work.

Nikon equipment: L35AF, F, F2, F4, FA, F801s, D70 with the usual brace of lenses. Firm favourite is the F4.

Non-Nikon equipment: Olympus 35RC, RD, SP, Yashi Electro 35 and Petri Color 35. Firm favourite is the Oly 35 RC Honourable mention: F801s and Petri Color 35.

I detest Nikon vs. Canon headbangers. "At the end of the day, all discussions cease at the editor's light desk" is a very succint quote by a Canadian photog.
