Started with a Super Ikonta roll film camera and graduated to Nikon equipment. Currently using D100 with a Nikon 24-85 f2.8 AF, 14mm f2.8, 75-150mm E series f3.5 zoom. Plan to add a Nikon 80-200 f2.8 AF later this year and a high end inkjet printer such as the Canon 9500.
My primary interest was black & white but the richness and flexability of digital colour facinates me. Photoshop has changed the way we now handle images. Almost everything we can do in a wet darkroom can now be done on a laptop. I am now trying B&W from digital with Duotones; a technique I still have to perfect. Over the years I have participated in several national and international exhibitions and have enjoyed seeing the immense photography talent around the world. Some images are truly outstanding and gives me the motivation to pursue my hobby even more actively. I am always looking for potential models and enjoy meeting other photographers. Some published work in travel related magazines including a book cover for Dummies publications.
